Knife designer Jersper Voxnaes named the Pilar folding knife after Ernest Hemmingway's personal sailboat that he used for renegade surveillance of German U-boats in WWII. Much like the boat and the writer himself, the Pilar has an understated appearance that belies its tremendous potential. The blade is a 2.4-inch sheepsfoot, designed for precise and powerful slicing and chopping. A large finger choil provides comprehensive blade control for detail oriented tasks. The heavy duty stainless steel handle has a frame lock that secures the blade with reliable force. A thin reversible pocket clip allows for tip-up or tip-down carry.
